Renowned cleric, Rev. Fr. Ebube Muonso, has once again sounded the alarm on the rising tide of insecurity in Anambra State. Despite attempts to muzzle his voice, Fr. Muonso remains resolute in his determination to speak truth to power and bring attention to the plight of the people.
In a recent statement, Fr. Muonso reiterated his concerns about the growing sense of insecurity in the state, citing instances of kidnappings, armed robberies, and communal clashes. He lamented the government's apparent lack of urgency in addressing these issues, warning that the situation could escalate if left unchecked.
Fr. Muonso's warnings have been met with resistance from certain quarters, with some accusing him of politicizing the issue of insecurity. However, the cleric remains undeterred, insisting that his primary concern is the welfare and safety of the people.
