Women Can Have It All: Barrister Ezeno Inspires, Words of Wisdom and Empowerment
By Chizoba Njaka
Renowned regional lawyer, Barrister Amaka Ezeno has shared powerful insights on women’s empowerment, resilience, and success during a heartfelt interaction with members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) led by Chairman Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika, who recently visited her chamber in Awka to offer condolences.
Barr. Ezeno emphasized that true value lies not in material possessions but in the strength and passion one holds in the heart. She urged women to be intentional and persevering in their pursuits, reminding them that greatness requires sacrifice and steadfast dedication. “When you decide to become great, you must reject lust and pride and instead foster loyalty,” she asserted.
Highlighting the challenges women face today, she identified a lack of dedication as a root cause of societal issues, including the rise of unethical practices like internet fraud (Yahoo Yahoo).
Drawing from her own life experience balancing family and career, she stressed that mutual understanding and trust are the pillars of a successful marriage. “Without loyalty, marriage becomes disorganized,” she warned.
Barr. Ezeno also spoke on the importance of humility, advising women to “wear humility like clothing” as it cultivates dignity and opens doors to opportunities. She encouraged women to avoid envy and not be swayed by societal judgment, but instead, to focus on their own paths with confidence. “Learn to clap for others and stay true to your lane,” she said emphatically.
She underscored that women possess unique strengths, especially in nurturing future generations, and must be empowered to lead. “Women know what it takes to train children and should be given power to rule,” she remarked.
Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika praised Barr. Ezeno, describing her life as one worthy of emulation and affirming that NAWOJ will continue to stand by her. Her message resonates as a clarion call for women to embrace humility, prioritize loyalty, and confidently pursue their goals while balancing personal and professional lives.
Barr. Amaka Ezeno’s life and words inspire women everywhere that it is possible to have it all, with the right mindset, values, and determination, she stated.
