Anambra Police Announces Christmas Carol, End-of-Year Party to Promote Shared Security Responsibility

The Anambra State Police Command will host a Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons and End-of-Year Party on December 23, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Vertex View Hall, Nibo, Awka. The event, themed “Policing: A Shared Responsibility,” will unite Ndi Anambra, security stakeholders, community leaders, and partners statewide to celebrate the holidays and reflect on citizens' and agencies' roles in upholding peace and safety.
According to a statement from Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the gathering aims to bolster police-resident collaboration, build trust and unity, and thank supporters for their yearly cooperation.
Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu, emphasized the occasion's role in fostering a shared security commitment and calls on residents to renew their vigilance and support during the festive season and into 2026, ensuring sustained safety.
The command also reaffirms its dedication to protecting lives and property while urging all to stay law-abiding and community-focused.
