Anambra Police Announces Christmas Carol, End-of-Year Party to Promote Shared Security Responsibility

‎The Anambra State Police Command will host a Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons and End-of-Year Party on December 23, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Vertex View Hall, Nibo, Awka. The event, themed “Policing: A Shared Responsibility,” will unite Ndi Anambra, security stakeholders, community leaders, and partners statewide to celebrate the holidays and reflect on citizens' and agencies' roles in upholding peace and safety.

‎According to a statement from Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the gathering aims to bolster police-resident collaboration, build trust and unity, and thank supporters for their yearly cooperation.

‎Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu, emphasized the occasion's role in fostering a shared security commitment and calls on residents to renew their vigilance and support during the festive season and into 2026, ensuring sustained safety.

‎The command also reaffirms its dedication to protecting lives and property while urging all to stay law-abiding and community-focused.
