Anambra Police Gear Up for Glory at 15th BIPOGA Games in Asaba

‎The Anambra State Police Command is buzzing with optimism ahead of the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA), themed “Beyond the Badge: Excellence in Action,” set for February 14, 2026, in Asaba, Delta State.

‎Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu, represented by the Command Management Team, rallied strategic officers and athletes at Police Headquarters in Awka. He praised their discipline, dedication, and zeal to win laurels for the state and Nigeria Police Force.

‎He emphasized that the games enhance physical fitness, teamwork, unity, and mental acuity, all of which are essential for high-level policing.

‎Expressing confidence in the team's preparation and morale, he pledged his full support, anticipating a successful medal tally. He further urged the team to maintain discipline, fairness, sportsmanship, and professionalism, reflecting positively on their organization.

‎Events include archery, arm wrestling, basketball, volleyball, football, judo, tug of war, karate, tennis, swimming, chess, boxing, weightlifting, and more, uniting officers nationwide for camaraderie and wellness.

‎Anambra Police wishes its contingent resounding success.
