Ikezue Hails Otti's Transformative Leadership in Abia

‎The Labour Party aspirant for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue has praised Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti for delivering unprecedented progress in under three years.

‎During his weekly media parley, Ven. Ikezue spotlighted the governor's prudent financial stewardship, which slashed Abia's debt from N191.2 billion to N48.4 billion—a 74% drop without new loans. This feat, according to him, positions Abia as a leader in debt management per Debt Management Office reports, driven by fiscal discipline, transparency, and people-focused policies.

‎He highlighted major infrastructure wins, like the rebuilding of Port Harcourt Road, Aguiyi Ironsi Boulevard, Ohanku Road, and Obohia Road. These upgrades have sparked economic growth in Aba and eased travel for residents.

‎The cleric also applauded advances in health and education: retrofitting 200 primary healthcare centers via Project Ekwueme, plans for Abia Medical City, smart school builds, teacher hires, and boosted education funding.

‎The N1.016 trillion 2026 Budget of Acceleration and New Possibilities, plus the Abia 25-Year Development Plan (2025–2050), signals bold steps toward sustainable growth and diversification, Ven. Ikezue noted. Otti's transparency has rebuilt trust, plugged revenue gaps, and lifted internal revenue without borrowing for daily costs.

‎Calling Otti "the face of good governance in Nigeria," the LP aspirant urged Abians to back the administration. He congratulated the governor and prayed for continued wisdom and strength.
