Ikezu's Easter Prayer: Resurrection Power to Revive Anambra's Dead Dreams

‎By Chizoba Njaka

‎Ven. Tochukwu "Sagacious" Ikezu, the Labour Party senatorial aspirant for Anambra Central Senatorial District, has shared a profound Easter meditation urging residents to tap into the "resurrection power" of Jesus Christ for personal revival, health, and breakthrough.

‎In his message titled "Easter Blessings and Meditation," Ven. Ikezu drew from Philippians 3:10-11, praying: "Resurrection power of the Lord, revive every dysfunctional or dead organ of my body in the Name of Jesus Christ!" He referenced Romans 8:11, emphasizing how the same power that raised Jesus will "bring to life our mortal bodies and perfect every system working to keep us well and healthy."

‎He called on God to restore "every good thing that has become dead in our lives," citing Job 42:10, while invoking the earthquake at Jesus' resurrection (Matthew 28:2) as a metaphor for divine shaking: "May the Almighty God send His earthquake into our lives to shake off all the shakeables that the unshakeable may remain," he prayed, drawing from Haggai 2:6-7 to affirm that evil attachments would be dislodged.

‎The message also highlighted angelic intervention, fulfilling Psalm 34:7's promise that "the angel of the Lord surrounds those who fear Him and delivers them." Ven. Ikezu prayed for the "ministries of the angel of the Lord for blessings and deliverance," ensuring they remain until blessings are received, as in 1 Kings 19:5-7.

‎Referencing Mark 16:4 and Isaiah 40:4-5, he asked God to "roll away all obstacles in our way to success and fulfilment," breaking seals of shame like Pilate's on the tomb (Joshua 5:9).

‎The cleric-turned-politician's message resonates amid Easter celebrations in Anambra, blending spiritual encouragement with hopes for communal prosperity.
