The Labour Party’s candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, has marked Children’s Day by sending goodwill messages to children across the district. He described them as both the joy of the present and the hope of the future.
In his address to the children of Anambra Central, Ven. Ikezue urged them to stay hopeful, pursue their dreams with confidence, and trust in the promise of a better tomorrow.
“You are the joy of today and the hope of tomorrow. May your dreams be big, your hearts be happy, and your future be bright and full of possibilities,” he said.
The candidate emphasized the need to protect and invest in children, noting that each child contributes meaningfully to the growth of society and serves as an inspiration to the community. “You matter. You inspire. You are our future,” he stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to families and children in the district, Ven. Ikezue said he is driven by “a father’s heart for every child, a servant leader for our people, a voice for our people, and a better future for our children.”
He also called on residents of Anambra to unite in efforts to build a stronger and more prosperous state, adding, “Let’s build a greater Anambra together.”
Ven. Ikezue intensifies consultations and grassroots outreach ahead of the Anambra Central senatorial election, with a focus on initiatives that support youths, children, and family development.
