NAWOJ Anambra Celebrates Prof. Okunna on AMTY Lifetime Achievement Award

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Anambra State Chapter, has congratulated the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Paul University, Prof. Chinyere Stella Okunna, on her conferment of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) Awards, held on July 19.
In a congratulatory message, the association described Prof. Okunna as an esteemed leader and academic icon whose outstanding contributions to journalism, education, leadership, mentorship and national development have continued to inspire generations of professionals and scholars.
NAWOJ noted that the prestigious honour is a fitting recognition of Prof. Okunna's decades of dedication and excellence in the media and academic sectors, where she has distinguished herself as a trailblazer and mentor.
The association commended her enduring legacy of excellence, integrity and selfless service, stating that her achievements have brought pride not only to the journalism profession but also to Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
The chapter further wished Prof. Okunna many more years of impactful service, good health and greater honours, while reaffirming its appreciation for her remarkable contributions to society.
