‎The Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for what he described as a sterling, thought-provoking and visionary economic address delivered at the Economic Conference in Delta State.

‎Speaking with journalists in Awka, Ven. Ikezue praised Governor Soludo's presentation, saying it outlined a clear roadmap for building a productive, investment-driven and people-centred economy. According to him, the Governor's clarity of vision, use of data and courageous leadership demonstrated that with the right leadership, Nigeria's sub-national governments can become engines of economic prosperity.

He described the Governor's performance as further proof that Anambra is in capable hands, adding that the state is not merely participating in national economic discourse but is leading it with practical ideas and innovative solutions.

‎The Labour Party senatorial candidate also expressed optimism about fostering greater collaboration between the federal and state governments if elected, stressing the need for stronger synergy between federal projects and state initiatives.

‎Ven. Ikezue noted that closer cooperation between Abuja and Awka would accelerate development across critical sectors, including employment, road infrastructure, healthcare and security, thereby improving the quality of life for the people of Anambra.

‎He further stated that the next senate requires representatives who understand the challenges, aspirations and daily realities of ordinary citizens, while possessing the capacity to attract greater federal presence to the state and effectively defend Anambra's interests. Ven. Ikezue prayed for God to grant the Governor continued wisdom and strength as he leads the affairs of Anambra State.
