Governor Soludo Alleges Rigging Plot in Anambra Election, Pledges Vigilant Defense of Mandate

At Isuofia Local Government polling unit 002 Ofuiyi Square ward 13, at about 1:15 p.m the environment was calm. People came out enmmas casting their vote. INEC officials and election materials, security, international observers were also all in board ensuring things were going accordingly.
Speaking immediately after casting his vote, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the incumbent and APGA flagbearer, raised alarm over a sinister plot to rig the ongoing Anambra governorship election.
Governor Soludo stated that some forces are conspiring to “swap election results” to manipulate the outcome revealing that these actors have allegedly met with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to block the timely uploading of results, aiming to hijack the electoral process.
According to him, “We have credible information that meetings have taken place with INEC to delay the results upload, giving room for manipulation,” he declared. Yet, undeterred by these threats, Soludo stood firm in his faith in the system and the people’s resolve. “Our people are vigilant, united, and ready to defend their mandate. From the polling units to the wards, local governments, and the state, we will monitor every step.
He confidently said, " we believe justice will prevail, and we will win across all 21 local government areas,” and encouraged Ndi Anambra to do the same by voting for their conscience.
