Anambra Police Graduates 100 Operatives from Elite Combat Training, Boosts State Security

The Anambra State Police Command has successfully concluded a comprehensive Combat and Armed Drill Training program for 100 operatives at Police College Oji River, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to enhance security in the state. The graduating class, comprising 26 corporals, 13 sergeants, and 61 constables, has undergone rigorous training in arms handling, combat readiness, and drill discipline, equipping them to effectively protect lives and property.
The passing-out ceremony was attended by Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu, represented by Deputy Commissioner of Operations, who expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Police Force leadership for approving the program. He commended the College Commandant, AIG Emmanuel Simon Bretet, and the instructors for their dedication to excellence.
The training was sponsored by Anambra State Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, who was represented by Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi, Special Adviser on Security. The event featured combat drill demonstrations and certificate presentations, highlighting the operatives' preparedness for deployment to strategic locations across the state.
