Anambra State Police Command Enhances Security Measures for Inauguration Ceremony

The Anambra State Police Command has intensified security measures across the state in preparation for the second-term inauguration of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has stepped up security advocacy, public sensitization, and operations to ensure a peaceful and incident-free event.
The Command has received reinforcement from 100 well-trained and equipped personnel from the Police College Oji River, who will complement strategically deployed personnel at critical locations, strengthen patrols, and enhance intelligence gathering to maintain law and order before, during, and after the inauguration ceremony.
Residents, stakeholders, and visitors are urged to remain law-abiding and cooperate with security personnel to ensure the safety of all dignitaries and members of the public.
The Anambra State Police Command reiterates its commitment to providing adequate security and ensuring that the inauguration ceremony is conducted in a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
