‎The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Anambra State Chapter hosted its 2026 Annual General Meeting and Summit, themed "Managing Reputation Capital in the Digital Age: Influence, Integrity, and Impact." The event, held at the International Convention Center, Awka, brought together dignitaries, traditional rulers, government agencies, and NIPR members to discuss navigating reputation in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

‎Notable individuals recognized for their outstanding contributions included Hon. Chinedu Glamour Nwoye, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra State; Spokesperson for Anambra State Command SP Tochukwu Ikenga; Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Pius Chukwuma Okoye; Construction Nigeria Limited Maokun TU, CEO of Zhongtian; and Lady Uju Dike, among others.

‎Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo emphasized the importance of reputation management for Anambra's rebirth, highlighting societal issues such as quick wealth without work, cultism, and cybercrime, which he attributed to a lack of integrity and enterprise. His vision for Anambra's rebirth involves restoring enterprise, integrity, and promoting positive storytelling about the state's identity.

‎Commissioner of Information, Law Mefor, stressed the significance of maintaining a positive image, while Senator Victor Umeh emphasized the importance of building a strong reputation based on sincerity, trust, and leadership.

‎The summit highlighted the need for ethical strategies to shape, protect, and leverage reputation in the digital age.

‎ The Outgoing NIPR Anambra Chairman, Prof. Angela Nwammuo, noted that reputation is fragile and can be impacted by a single social media post.

‎Philanthropist Ambassador Ndubuisi David Ewenike praised Governor Soludo's contributions to the state and expressed confidence in his future efforts to transform Anambra State into a model for others to follow.
