‎Soludo Pledges Support for Anambra Women on International Women's Day

‎The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has extended his warm wishes to women in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of International Women's Day 2026, celebrated today in Awka.

‎In a statement released by the Governor's Press Secretary,Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo praised the resilience and contributions of women to the development of Anambra State and Nigeria. He noted that the global theme for this year's celebrations, "Give to Gain," marks a shift from charity to strategic investment in collective prosperity.

‎According to Soludo, empowering women is a catalyst for economic growth, social stability, and sustainable development.

‎He highlighted the Anambra State government's efforts to create an ecosystem where women can thrive, including initiatives such as skills training, MSME support, financial inclusion, free quality education for girls, and women's political inclusion.

‎Soludo affirmed his government's commitment to building a prosperous homeland where women can walk alongside men, secure in their dignity and limitless in their potential.
