Trump Warns Iran: US Warships Ready for Action if Talks Fail

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran on Friday, stating that U.S. warships are being reloaded with "the best ammunition" and "the best weapons ever made" in preparation for potential strikes should high-stakes peace talks in Pakistan fail.

‎In a phone interview with the New York Post, Trump said, "We're going to find out in about 24 hours. We're going to know soon." He emphasized the U.S. military's readiness, adding, "We have a reset going. We're loading up the ships with the best ammunition... even better than what we did previously, and we blew them apart."

‎The comments come as Vice President JD Vance is en route to Islamabad, where he will join special envoy Steve Witkoff for critical negotiations. The talks aim to secure a final peace deal following a two-week cease-fire reached on Tuesday amid escalating tensions.

‎Trump's remarks underscore the high stakes, with the administration balancing diplomatic efforts and military preparedness as the 24-hour deadline looms.
