Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue has today formally submitted his Senate Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone at the Labour Party National Secretariat, Abuja. He was warmly received by the party’s National Organizing Secretary and other top national officers.
In remarks after submitting his forms, Ven. Ikezue appealed to all eligible Nigerians with a special emphasis on youths and first-time voters to use the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
He called the moment “defining” for Nigeria’s democratic future and urged citizens not to “sit on the fence.“ Adding, "No responsible Nigerian should sit on the fence at this defining moment in our democratic journey toward a New Nigeria". The Cleric explained, INEC’s CVR exercise runs until Friday, July 10, 2026, marking the final opportunity for voters to secure PVCs ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Ven. Ikezue also urged supporters to register themselves and mobilize others, stressing that participation at the ballot box is essential to the movement for a better Nigeria. “Get your PVC. Mobilize others. Be part of the movement for a better Nigeria,” he said, adding that the time for action is now.
