Anambra Police Meet Alor Stakeholders Over Murder of 23-Year-Old Student

The Anambra State Police Command has received a delegation of stakeholders from Alor community over the ongoing investigation into the suspected murder of a 23-year-old female student in her residence at Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area.
The delegation, led by the President General of Alor community, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, alongside some Red Cap Chiefs, visited the Police Command Headquarters on June 26 to support the investigation and reaffirm the community's commitment to ensuring justice for the deceased.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the stakeholders provided useful information to assist investigators and pledged continued cooperation with the police in uncovering the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, assured the delegation that the command remains committed to conducting a thorough investigation and ensuring that anyone found responsible is brought to justice in accordance with the law.
He urged residents to remain calm, avoid speculation, and provide credible information that could aid the investigation.
Speaking during the visit, the President General commended the police for their swift response and professionalism in handling the case. He expressed confidence in the ongoing investigation and assured the command of the Alor community's continued support.
The Police Command reiterated its commitment to protecting lives and property and assured the family of the deceased, the Alor community, and the general public that no effort would be spared in ensuring justice is served.
