‎The Nigeria Police Force, through the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), in collaboration with the Anambra State Government, has on July 29 announced plans to hold an Anambra State Stakeholders' Interactive Meeting aimed at promoting youth engagement and strengthening partnerships for safer communities.

‎The meeting, tagged "POCACOV Stakeholders' Interactive Meeting, Anambra State Command," is themed "Building a Safer Society Through Strategic Partnerships and Youth Engagement."

‎According to the organisers, the interactive session will bring together key stakeholders to deliberate on collaborative approaches to addressing cultism, crime, drug abuse, and other social vices affecting communities across the state.

‎The initiative is expected to foster stronger partnerships among government agencies, security institutions, community leaders, traditional rulers, religious bodies, youth groups, civil society organisations, and other critical stakeholders in advancing peace, security, and sustainable development in Anambra State.

‎The programme aligns with the objectives of POCACOV, a community-based initiative of the Nigeria Police Force focused on crime prevention through advocacy, awareness creation, youth empowerment, and stakeholder collaboration.

‎The event also reflects the commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan and the Anambra State Government to promoting safer communities through proactive engagement and collective responsibility.

‎The organisers also urged all invited stakeholders to actively participate in the meeting, emphasizing that building a secure society requires sustained collaboration, meaningful youth engagement, and a shared commitment to protecting lives and property.
