Ikezue Commends Gov. Otti as Abia Emerges Top Performer in State Performance Index

The Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, and the people of the state over Abia's outstanding performance in the latest Philips Consulting State Performance Index.
Speaking with journalists in Awka, Ven. Ikezue described the state's remarkable rise in the rankings as the product of purposeful leadership, prudent financial management, infrastructure renewal and a strong commitment to improving the welfare of the people.
He noted that Abia's achievement serves as a shining example for other states in the South-East, demonstrating that effective governance, transparency and accountability can deliver meaningful development and improved public service.
According to him, the recognition also validates the Labour Party's people-centred approach to governance, expressing confidence that other states in Alaigbo can attain similar progress when leaders prioritize the needs of citizens.
The Labour Party chieftain said the development inspires his aspiration to represent Anambra Central in the Senate, stressing that the people of the district deserve quality infrastructure, accessible healthcare, improved education and efficient digital governance.
On behalf of the Ven. Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue Senatorial Campaign Council and the people of Anambra Central, he commended Governor Otti and his administration for bringing national recognition to Abia State and enhancing the image of the South-East.
Ven. Ikezue added that the achievement should encourage greater collaboration among South-East states, emphasizing that shared learning and unity would accelerate the region's development.
He urged leaders across Alaigbo to remain committed to delivering measurable results, declaring that the South-East renaissance is being driven by purposeful leadership and tangible achievements.
