Stakeholders Renovate Anambra Police Headquarters in Honour of AIG Orutugu's Promotion

The Anambra State Police Command has continued to enjoy overwhelming goodwill and support from stakeholders following the promotion and decoration of the Commissioner of Police, AIG Ikioye Orutugu, as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
According to a statement issued to journalists in Awka by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the wave of congratulations has been accompanied by a remarkable show of appreciation for the Command's achievements under AIG Orutugu's leadership.
As part of the gesture, stakeholders have commenced the facelift of the Anambra State Police Command Headquarters in Awka, in recognition of the Command's commitment to professional policing, enhanced public safety, and strengthened police-community relations.
The initiative, the statement noted, reflects the growing confidence of residents and stakeholders in the Nigeria Police Force in Anambra State and highlights the importance of sustained collaboration between the Police and key partners in promoting security and development across the state.
The Anambra State Police Command expressed profound appreciation to the stakeholders for their generosity and support, describing the initiative as a source of encouragement to sustain ongoing reforms, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance service delivery.
