Anambra First Lady Praised for Empowering Women

Anambra State Governor's wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has been commended by philanthropist Dr. Oliver Umeh for her efforts in promoting healthy living and empowering women in the state.

 Dr Umeh who is the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Victory Hospital and Children Clinics, Onitsha, Anambra State made this commendation in Mgbakwu, Awka North Local Government Area, Anambra State, praised Dr. Soludo's initiative, "Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo," for providing women with opportunities for ideological reforms, social growth, and economic empowerment. 

He expressed gratitude to the Governor's wife for leveraging the August meeting to launch a comprehensive outreach program, aimed at empowering women to effectively address their health and family challenges.

The philanthropist appreciated Dr. Soludo for highlighting critical issues affecting families, including moral deficits in child-rearing, erosion of family values, pursuit of ill-gotten wealth, parental neglect, and substance abuse among schoolchildren. He praised the wife of the governor for founding "Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo," a platform dedicated to empowering women through ideological reforms, social growth, and economic empowerment.

Dr. Umeh lauded Dr. Soludo's initiative to encourage affluent and empowered women to support those struggling with social status, faith, and life, promoting spiritual, social, and economic upliftment. 

He also expressed delighted for the partnership between Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Dr. Soludo, highlighting the recent empowerment program where 1,000 Anambra women received N50,000 each in business re-capitalization grants. Additionally, Dr. Umeh thanked Governor Charles Soludo for his support in implementing the "Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo" programs.
