Anambra Politics: Nwachukwu Outlines Priorities, Soludo's APS Rallies Support

 The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial candidate for Anambra South, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu, has expressed his readiness to complete all developmental projects initiated by the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah before embarking on new ones. 

Chief Nwachukwu who stated this during an interactive session with the Congress of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council in Awka underscored his collaborative relationship with the late Senator Ubah, which facilitated the implementation of road infrastructure projects in his constituency. Leveraging his expertise as a seasoned banker and his leadership experience as President General of the Ukpor Development Union, he emphasized his commitment to delivering authentic and impactful representation.
He expressed his commitment to working in tandem with Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's vision to transform Anambra into a livable, prosperous, and digitally-driven smart megacity. If elected, Chief Nwachukwu aims to elevate Anambra South through innovative governance and economic growth initiatives, ensuring the people reap the benefits of effective representation.

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Akpua, reconfirmed Anambra Patriots for Soludo's (APS) unwavering support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo's re-election bid, citing his impactful leadership and impressive service delivery during his first term in office.
According to Hon. Akpua, APS is spearheading a massive mobilization effort across 326 electoral wards and 179 communities, leveraging strategic grassroots platforms to amplify Governor Soludo's achievements and sustain momentum for his re-election. The group is calling on the media to support their efforts through balanced and objective reporting.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra State Council,
Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, commended APS for engaging with the union and assured that the organization’s activities would receive fair and balanced coverage.  

Comrade Odogwu used the opportunity to emphasize the importance of upholding the highest standards of professionalism in journalism reminding journalists of their critical role in providing authentic information to the public 

He urged journalists to prioritize their health and well-being while discharging their duties. He also stressed the need for journalists to adhere to ethical practices, warning that failure to do so could lead to problems and difficulties in the cause of discharging their work.
