CP Condemns Barbaric Kidnapping, Orders Investigation

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has unequivocally condemned the heinous murder of a young boy who was abducted alongside his two sisters in the state. 

In a statement released in Awka by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, CP Orutugu described the act as egregious and inhumane, assuring the public that the command would exhaust all avenues to bring the perpetrators to justice.

CP Orutugu strongly condemned the brutal act, extending condolences to the bereaved family and the Amansea community.

The State Intelligence Department has been tasked with identifying the survivor(s) to gather crucial information and facilitate a thorough investigation.

The Command however urged the public to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative, providing credible information to aid in the swift apprehension of the suspects.

CP Orutugu reaffirmed the Command's unwavering commitment to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes in Anambra State, prioritizing the protection of all citizens and upholding its constitutional duty to safeguard lives and property.
