Anambra's Security Triumph Ignites Foreign Investment Boom: Deputy Governor Launches Hua Ting Chinese Eatery

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, has officially commissioned a new Chinese-owned restaurant, Hua Ting, located at No. 5B Commissioners’ Quarters in Awka, the state capital. The event was welcomed with praise from residents and food enthusiasts, who see it as a strong sign that investor confidence is returning to the state thanks to improved security and targeted government reforms.
During the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Ibezim highlighted that the establishment of foreign businesses like Hua Ting stems directly from the Soludo administration's consistent security efforts. He emphasized that ensuring law and order is essential for fostering economic growth, tourism, and business development. According to him, foreign investors conduct thorough assessments before investing, and their presence signals trust in Anambra’s stability and governance.
Dr. Ibezim also noted that beyond enriching the hospitality sector, the restaurant will generate employment opportunities, facilitate skill transfer, and encourage cultural and culinary exchanges between Nigerians and the Chinese community.
