Anambra POWA Empowers Officers' Families, Communities with Free Skills Training

The Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Anambra State Chapter, is advancing officers’ welfare and security-community ties through free skills training and empowerment programs.
Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga stated that the training, which was launched today, includes POWA members and women from local communities. Participants will gain skills in baking, catering, natural spices production, and more to build self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and economic independence for police families and residents.
Acting Chairperson Mrs. Eno Mantu added that graduates will receive skills training plus equipment, boosting morale for officers and supporting families across the community.
Anambra POWA highlights how officers' well-being fuels effective policing, stressing that true security grows from police-community collaboration.
